Emcee Training Program – Turning your employees into professional Masters of Ceremonies


From time to time, your employees may need to take up the role of Master of Ceremonies and host different events ranging from an office Christmas party to an official launching ceremony of products and services. To make the event a successful and well-remembered one, the emcee must be able to master the necessary skills to engage the audience while ensuring the program goes smoothly. In the October 2015 issue of Toastmasters International, Gilda Bonanno talked about important tactics for becoming an effective emcee in his article When You are the Emcee - 12 Steps to Achieve Excellence Onstage. So, how to turn your employees into professional and exuberant emcees and put these tactics into practice?

Talent academy has been designing and delivering a series of customized emcee training programs to employees of a wide range of companies, grooming them to become effective emcees. Recently, we partnered with a world-class mass transit railway company and provided their graduate employees with an intensive, practical and highly insightful emcee training program. During the program, participants learnt about the role of emcees, tactics to engage the audience, presentation skills such as vocal, verbal, and visual techniques, stage management, etc. After the training, participants agreed that the program was able to help them become confident and knowledgeable emcees as they can possibly be.
